Web Design in St. Petersburg

Custom websites for St. Pete businesses that would rather look like themselves than like a template. Built from scratch, fast on a phone, easy to call from.

Website builds start at $2,000. Ongoing care and updates start at $125/month.

For a city of independents

St. Pete runs on independent businesses: the studios, shops, clinics, and restaurants that compete on character rather than ad budget. A template site flattens exactly the thing that sets you apart. A custom one puts it on the first screen.

Character alone doesn't get you found, though. The site still has to load fast on a phone, tell Google clearly what you do and where, and make the next step obvious, whether that's a call, a booking, or directions. That part isn't glamorous, and it's the part most good-looking sites skip.

The studio is across the bay in Tampa, and I'll come to you for the first meeting. One of the sites below belongs to a clinic with a location in St. Petersburg, so the work already serves patients on this side of the water.

Who it's for

St. Pete businesses whose personality is the reason customers pick them.

Shops, studios & restaurants

A site that looks like walking through your door, not like everyone else's theme. Hours, location, and the menu or the work up front, with nothing to dig for on a phone.

Clinics & wellness

Every location with its own number, hours, and directions, and a path to booking that works for someone in pain. It's what AJ Therapy Center's St. Petersburg clinic has on its site.

Professional & creative services

Consultants, agencies, and makers who are judged on taste. The site is the first sample of your work a client sees, so it has to hold up to the same standard.

The brief

The old site was still selling a beauty institute they had closed — in the hero, the navigation, and the title Google showed in search. The footer said 2023. The largest image took nearly 12 seconds, there was no meta description, and the appointment form, the one thing the page exists for, was a row of grey boxes.

The build

A rebuild that leads with what a crash patient needs to hear: Florida PIP only pays if you’re seen within 14 days, and AJ has treated injuries in Tampa Bay since 2013. A video-first homepage, then services, locations, FAQ, and a call button one tap from anywhere. English and Spanish throughout, because their patients speak both, and a title tag that finally matches the business. Built with an insider’s understanding of clinic operations, from a background as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. AJ treats patients at two clinics in Tampa and one in St. Petersburg, and each location's number is one tap away.

How it works

Four steps, in order, every time, with the same person from the first call to launch. Most sites go live in three to five weeks, and you can open the work in progress on a preview link whenever you like.

  1. Measure

Discovery. Your goals, your market, your customers — we learn the shape of the business before anything gets drawn.

  2. Cut

Design. Type, layout, and tone chosen for you specifically — presented as real screens, not mood boards.

  3. Fit

Build. Development, revisions, and detail passes until everything sits exactly right.

  4. Deliver

Launch. The site live on your domain, print on your desk, and every file handed over.

Every site includes

  • Custom design & build, no templates
  • A page for each service you sell
  • Call, text & contact on every screen
  • English & Spanish, if your customers speak both
  • Local SEO foundations: titles, sitemap & business markup
  • Launch & hosting setup
  • Every file handed over at the end

Questions

You're in Tampa. Do you work with St. Pete businesses?
Yes. It's a short drive, and I'll meet you at your business to start. Design reviews and changes happen on a preview link, so where you are doesn't slow anything down.
Will my site show up when people search in St. Pete?
Every site ships with what Google uses to place a business: a title and description that name your city, a sitemap, and business markup with your address and service area. Rankings also depend on your Google Business Profile and reviews, which no web designer controls.
What does a website cost?
Builds start at $2,000, and ongoing care and updates start at $125 a month. You'll have a quote before any work starts.
I already have a site. Do I need a new one?
Not always. If it's fast, works on a phone, and says what you do today, it may only need fixes. If it's slow, dated, or still describes a business you used to be, a rebuild usually earns its cost back. Send me the link and I'll tell you which.
Who owns the site when it's done?
You do. It launches on your domain, and every file is handed over at the end. Ongoing care is there if you want it, not a condition of keeping your site.
